This is a simple black fur collar that probably came from a 1950s coat. It's really nicely made and in great condition and ready to be attached to a new coat! You could also pin it around the base of your neck using the existing hook and eye closure. Add it to a simple crew neck top or sweater for a touch a warm and luxury. Or wear on your bare skin above a strapless bodice, it will feel fabulous and lend an air of uniqueness to your high fashion looks.

The fur is long and luxurious. very soft. It's not mink - no guard hairs, it'snot rabbit either, too long.... dyed fox - I think it might be too soft even for fox.

It measure aproximately 22 along the top edges where the hook and eye closure is end to end of the satin lining on the underside. So it will sit high on the neck pretty similar to how you see it on the dress form.

It's made of a very dark fur, reads black but has brown dimension
excellent condition, no shedding, fresh and soft
