It has a small train at the back The sleeves are long in the back and shorter in the front, giving almost a renaissance feel. Marked Size 12 but it may well not work for a modern size twelve, so please use the garment's actual measurements provided here. And let's chat if you need help determining if it will work for you. You will want the gown to fit to the body but there is not any stretch. It had a side zipper Flat Measurments: shoulder to shoulder: 14 Armpit to Amrpit : 19 Waist: 14.5 Hips: 18 you want it close here, and because of the bias cut, there is some give here, so you could probably get it on if your hips are 40 around or less. Edwardian Cotton Chemise, White, Size: Small Period Edwardian Cotton chemise, orginally intended as a under garment layer. Made of lightweight cotton it's very simple with a panel of fancy netting across the uppder chest. This shoulder straps have been folder and sewn so if you wish for it to sit lower on the chest you could easily release that stitching for an extra inch or so of length there. No closure The woven cotton fabric is soft and lightweight, in excellent condition with a very few minor and tiny spots as shown. One of the side seams needs a few stitches, I can do this repair before I ship it if you like, just please remind me. Here are the flat measurments: armpit to armpit: 18 across the waist area: about 20 hips: about 23 length: 35.5 I am not an expert in this period but certainly appreciate it very much.
