Vtg St Rome Silk Drop Wst, Pink, Size: 12 Pastel pink and yellow evening dress from the 1980s by Saint Romei The dress was made in the 1980s in Korea. The silk has a slightly gauzy feel and it's jacquard with big circles woven into the fabric and a complicated but subtle floral print. It has big shoulders (with pads) and is slim through the hips. The silhouette is reinforced with low set ties. Silk covered buttons at the back and the cuffs (one of the cuff buttons is a plain plastic replacement) The sleeves will come to about the elbow. CONDITION: I found one faint stain on the front. I did not try to do anything to it for fear of making it worse and I feel it's not really noticeable unless upon close inspection. You are a shimmering goddess in this long extremely fancy HEAVY white gown by Primavera. It's lavishly beaded and sequined with irridescent clear and peach sequins and clear beads. It has a small train at the back The sleeves are long in the back and shorter in the front, giving almost a renaissance feel. Marked Size 12 but it may well not work for a modern size twelve, so please use the garment's actual measurements provided here. And let's chat if you need help determining if it will work for you. You will want the gown to fit to the body but there is not any stretch. Vtg Scarlet Q Beaded Halt, Multi, Size: Large fabulous sequined halter gown in the style of the 1920s in the colors of a dark mermaid. The dress has a straight dropped waist silhouette with a gather and slit at one side embellished with a sequined flower. the halter neck has two strong hook and eyes and those are the only closures. The beaded layer is silk and it's fully lined in rayon. This dress would be so perfect for a Great Gatsby themed formal event. It's in perfect condition but the fit must be given some careful consideration. I tried it on, I am size 8-10, 136lbs, 5'5, 38-30-41 It was too long in the bodice for me. a little too big in the cup area Also too tight in the hips and seat. but too big in the waist. The open back has a straight across top edge, it's a little gathered but doesnt really hug the body. Here are the flat measurements: armpit to armpit: 18 waist area: 19 hip: 20 length from the back of the neck to the hem: 58 It might need some work by your seamstress to tailor it perfectly for you.
