For Cool Girls or Guys
This blazer was made in 1966 for an American serviceman stationed in Japan.
Fabulous orange and magenta paisleyy fabric, which feels like a substantial woven cotton.
Beautifully tailored with interior pockets, a little bit of padding at the upper back and lovely touches, like the finish on the exterior pockets.
It's furnished with flat gold buttons and there is a spare of each type (one of rhte cuffs and one for the front closures) on the inside.
It's double breasted with two flaps at the back and high peaked lapels
The man it was made for was not a big man. My mannequin is about a modern mens size medium and it is a little snug on him.
This jacket would work for a woman or a man. I am 5' 5, about a modern size 8 on top and it is only a smidge too big for me. I would totally wear it.
